Description

5 talented artists from Caribbean Island of Aruba, considered the happiest island in the world, created HICARU. Kyle is a pianist, composer and educator who plays different styles of music, bringing in his compositions influences of Caribbean, African, Afro-American and European elements. For Kyle, improvisation is a natural way to express oneself. Bremo, based in the USA, studied jazz in Codarts Rotterdam Conservatory and University of Central Oklahoma. Through his career he has performed on various music festivals in The U.S., Europe, Latin America and The Caribbean, in genres ranging from jazz to rock-pop music. Christopher is a percussionist, drummer & composer who plays a variety of music genres such as afro caribbean, African, Middle eastern, Latin & Brazilian rhythms, Flamenco, Jazz fusion and so on. He is currently based in Helsinki, Finland. Jose is an electric bassist based in Amsterdam. His Caribbean and Latin roots combined with jazz improvisation can be heard through his playing. He gratuade from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Serghio studied at Berklee College of Music and now is not just a multi-faced artists, but also a jazz teacher.
