Ishkero is a young fusion band from Paris, with powerful and modern grooves. It has become the new rising star of the Parisian jazz scene. The rhythmic section is 24 years old on average, with drummer Tao Erlich and bassist Antoine Vidal. Together, they form a tight and solid foundation for guitarist Victor Gascq and keyboardist Arnaud Forestier to thrive, while accompanying the delicate and modern melodies of flutist Adrien Duterte. After a first EP in June 2016 they have performed on various stages like the New Morning, La Petite Halle at la Villette, Les Trois Baudets, La Gare, or at festivals such as Dauphine Jazz Festival, Saint-Emilion Jazz Festival, Jazz in Juan Showcases or Jazz à L’Evêché in Orléans and Jazz sur Seine in Paris … and even in Algeria. After playing over a 100 concerts and collaborating with many great artists Ishkero is back with a brand new EP called « KYUN », just released in October 2019. Mixing influences from the recent jazz scene, rock and even traditional gnawa music, they want to spread their love for different genres through their compositions, while staying in the realm of jazz and improvised music. Their goal: to carry every listener away. For 2020, they will be releasing their new exclusive vinyl : BRUME.
